veiled loved the pinky

I go by the ol' "the can eat anything as big as their head" rule. but normally feed my cham much smaller than his head.

As a disclaimer to new chameleon owners, using pinkies is a controversial topic. One should not jump into the practice thinking everyone else is doing it.

yea this was the first time for me. he didnt seem to have a problem with it. the only difference is that the bones are on the inside not outside. so i dont see a problem with it, and i did dip the hind quarters is calcium.

pinkies are rarely used as a medic kit for female chameleon after laying there eggs and there calcium levels are down breeders used to inject a calcium load into the pinkie and feed it , i wouldnt be feeding them anyways insect protien is alot different from rodent protien ahah and it can lead to gout of your chameleon and then leads to other problems , so think again befor feeding the next one
