Veiled male not interested

I purchased a pair of veields at the Reptcon show this weekend. They were mating at the table. I don't know how old they are because the guy said they are wild caught in Florida. I read everything I could find about breeding them but did not find anything about the male not being interested. I did read about how to tell if the female is respective. I put them together this evening to see if she is gravid. The male ran up to her and she did not change color, sway or hiss. They stayed nose to nose for a little while then the male turned around. The female positioned herself in front of him but he just ignored her. She finally just moved away. Can anyone tell me why he is not interested? In the first pictures I had just misted them so that is why they look strange.

They may just need time to settle in. Do you know if the were tested for parasites? I love the color of the male!

I don't think they have been tested. Will do that ASAP. He said they are wild caught but it is strange cause they don't mind being handled, don't hiss or change color when you hold them and the male is very interested in Jack (yorkie). He will come right up to you when you open his cage and they both cup feed.
