veiled on the ground

It's when they're not basking and they're gaping that you want to start to get concerned! As long as she doesn't have excess saliva and isn't making a wheezing sounds, I think she's probably all right (y)
Good! Thank You! No saliva and no wheezing. I started researching it when I saw her doing it, lots of different answers out there.

Like @Syreptyon said mine only does it when basking or when I have him outside in the sun (which is basking too I know) I have tried reducing the temp in case it was too hot but he does it anyway.

UPDATE. So I still don't have a name lol. It'll come to me, but I'm seriously thinking about Abaddon and calling her Abby for short. Since she acts like a little demon. I guess she still hates us bc we still do the liquid calcium every night, and she hates it. Hissing and trying to bite and all that. Bu I cant say I blame her. I'm sure its not tasty. :p

She still has crazy legs when climbing, she slips sometimes. But her tail is super strong, and she doesn't fall. She can right herself, but she still struggles a little while climbing. She stays at the top branch under the light almost 100% of the time. I'm always worried she's going to get to hot. But I have to keep reminding myself that she will move lower if she's to hot. I feel like a hovering mother hen. o_O:confused::wideyed:

Her non UV bulb from the chameleon kit we bought blew this morning. I did a lot of reading on here about lights. So I put a regular house hold light in there. I will monitor the temps through out the day since I'm off work today.

I haven't had any luck getting her to eat fruits/veggies yet. I've tried multiple times to hand feed her superworms with tweezers. She just hisses and lunges at me. :(

But I'm just thankful that she's climbing better. She has crazy good grips with all feet. She digs those little claws in my hands when we do the liquid calcium. Her tail is good and strong. I call her legs, crazy legs bc they look like little windmills sometimes. It's like she cant make them go where she wants them to go for a minute. I'm assuming this is just apart of her MBD. Any idea if she will always do this? I figure she may always have some issues with crazy legs. If she does, that's ok too. I will love her all the same.

I'm also having issues planning out a laying bin. With the umbrella and corn plant I have in there now, theres no room for a laying bin. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out how to lay this out. I'm sure I'm over thinking this, as I tend to do that about, well, everything.

Mount the pots to the cage walls to leave the bottom open for a lay bin

It’ll take some chameleon enclosure structural engineering, but it’ll make everything easier. Or you could buy the Pet Tekk Magnaturals 4” magnetic planting pot ledges

If you have a compact fluorescent, you need the linear uvb, especially since she has MBD. As for the elevating the pots, you could buy or make your own Dragon Strand ledges or use the Magnaturals, they’d be the easiest
I have a uv bulb. I keep seeing people say to get the long bulbs. But I've never seen anyone say what the difference is between the uv bulb or the long uv bulb

so the long ones are uv, do they hold a regular bulb also. or do I need a single dome for a regular one for heat? i'm currently $102 in the hole at the bank. (FML) but I will look into it.

Keep it, just take out the uvb bulb
If I ever get caught up on my bills, which will be when I die, I'll get one lol.
just kidding, i'll try my best to get one as soon as I can. my husband isn't thrilled with how much money I've dumped already though.:(

I had to take 2 of my dogs to the vet last week, $140.

This is what I have going on now. I was trying to get a good pic of her, but my phone scares her.
