Guys! Help! I need HELP! My am planning to get a chameleon for Christmas, but I have some questions. I have done extensive research on this, but I have some questions:
1.) What is the minimum cage size for an adult male veiled chameleon? Male panther chameleon?
2.) Who can I get good veiled chameleon? panther chameleon?
3.) and how does the process work? do I order it online, get it in person, etc? does it work like Craigslist?

also stay away from petco/petsmart as they treat chameleons horribly and don't care for them properly (not because they don't care, they are just misinformed)

I've seen people say that the minimum for a male panther should be greater than 24x24x48. I have a veiled though, so I'm not an expert

Like what Lizzie The Chameleon said, 24x24x48 is the best cage size for both species, veileds get a bit bigger than panthers, and veileds are more aggressive (as ive heard), get a cham from someone on the site rather than a store like petsmart or petco. They will ship it in a cup with a stick in it, inside a box usually with a disposable heat pad, and some shredded newspaper.

it really depends on the cham, sometimes veileds are nicer, sometimes panthers. unfortunately, you won't know until you receive it. also the size depends on the cham as well, but minimum for a male panther is 24x24x48 but that would be good for a veiled, panthers need bigger vivs as i've heard

I did my research and here is what I got:
Male Panther Minimum cage size 18-24 inches wide,18-24 inches long and 48 tall.60cm,60cm,120cm.
Male Veiled minimum cage size 2ft wide,2ft long and 3ft tall.I also saw that the ideal for Male Veileds are 2ftwide,2ftlong, and 4ft tall
I did a summary and that's what I got.
