Veiled shot it again.

a thanks in from netherlands and here were using waterproof wood(betonplex) try to google the word between the() and glass and in amerika you guys are using mesh dont know why but both works great that shows.

what means the word viv actually sorry for my terrible english?just arrived at the form.

@voodoochild863 yes i did but thanks for explaning. do you like the build of my viv's?

@YOSHI ive put a lot of time in it to do that with him he was a shy fella you know after a cupple of weeks he tryed it and know he always stand and drinks like a circus panther.

Does your Panther drink like that on a daily basis ?
I can imagine that's taken a while, i can't even get near my Yemen when he's in his viv without him throwing a tantrum :(

I must say, the enclosures Ricardo makes are looking great but as an exception among the Dutch I prefer screen cages. I actually have a cage here that's like Ricardo's but I noticed my veiled was less active and I needed way more branches and plants to make it possible for him to move around. Ok, there is one thing that makes it harder; humidity drops faster and so you have to mist them more and I need bigger lamps to keep the enclosures at the right temperature, but I think due to the airflow and the fact that they can actually climb on the mesh, they have a better way to move around. I have the idea I limit my animals a lot when using glass so I would only go for screen cages or half glass. Even on glass I would apply some cocos net to make them able to even climb on those sides.

I actually have my veiled and my quadricornis both sitting in front of my hand mister to get the water. As soon as I come over to mist my veiled he's right at it to catch the water, I use a very small jet of water or just drops and they drink like that with me every day. It takes some time but at least I know what my animals are drinking and eating on daily basis.

wel my pardalis and my veiled drink out of the hand/ pipet(drupper) each day.

Its easyer to handle them that way bycoming is that they are much easier to handle out of the vivs, ill take em out every day so they get used to it.
