Veiled: Swollen face? & Panther: Locale?

There's a private owned pet store next to an internet cafe my boyfriend and I go to once in a while.

About a year ago they had rescued an adult male veiled. The lady said he was 6yrs old, although I have my doubts, I can't say she's wrong.

When we went in today we noticed his casque, cheeks, and eyes looked extremely swollen. I'm thinking edema, but I'd rather have more experienced members to chime in on it.

His husbandry looked fine. Although I feel she does not give them enough water.

I just know it's not normal, and I hate that I can't really do anything to help him.

They also have this guy there as well and was wondering what he was?

The first time I got to hold a panther, and I want one SO BAD. Their grip is definitely a lot softer than veilds and he is SUPER friendly.

He unfortunately is missing all of his nails. I'm guessing due to not enough vines, branches, or rods to climb on his enclosure. :(

I notice he kind of licked the top of his enclosure and I put some water in a Styrofoam cup that was on top of his cage and he drank like he hadn't drank all day! :( I probably wasn't suppose to touch the water of anything but I just HAD TO help him!
