Funny, I've never thought that veileds weren't pretty. Seen in person their coloration and markings are wonderful.

I love the way Veileds look. Rio is definitely a handsome little guy. People do seem to go a bit more gaga over panthers, but I think just about every chameleon species is fascinating in their own way. Whether you want crazy colors, statuesque casques, horns, sails, red nails, scalloped beards, or large size, there's a type of chameleon for you.

Ironically, we work so hard to create a secure low stress situation for our chams...and when we do, we end up with a contented cham that doesn't fire up as much if ever. A little stress can be good sometimes. Reminds them they are a feeling creature.
