VERSUS my dog

youre dog vs mine and whoever else posts.

RULES.

post as many as 3 photos initially and then two more once people have had time to respond to/recognize your initial post

provide

name

weight

age

breed

and a description of general demeanor, attitude and personality traits

if you own an animal other than a dog ie. serval, kangaroo, baboon you think is a fair match in a fight feel free to include it but you or a close relative MUST be the owner.

DISCLAIMER; this is in no way shape or form promoting fighting animals. its just a theoretical debate for fun.

and so here is mine

name: Keiko (japanese for devoted child)

weight: 55lbs

age: 3

breed: german shepherd mix (we assume german pincher based on demeanor, coloration and anatomy)

shes not much of a beast, shes fast a hell, jumps high as heck.

easily excitable

shes very OCD. she will squeek and sit in place for hours when she knows pig or a laser pointer is just out of reach.

we cant take her to the dogpark anymore because shes overly aggressive and has caused some notable injuries to other dogs, she will cease and desist when commanded to but will commit right back to aggression if approached by the other dog again.

she picks out the largest or most dominant dog in the park and immediately proceeds to test it. she leaves submissive dogs alone (thank god). she identifies with dog language, surprisingly, but the effect of of her against a dog that wont stand down or dosnt know how to gets very fierce very quick.

but at the same time shes fine with dogs shes familiar with. and ones with extreme confidence. ive only ever seen her submit to a large male shepherd and a (huge) dalmatian mix she see go down the street on occasion.

i had another dog that made 3 rottweilers look like a pile a newbs but ill save that till after i get some responses for this one.

ready? FIGHT!

she hates kisses btw

Samson
9 years old
English Bulldog
16 inches tall
70 lbs.

Samson is super slow and lazy, but he would probably win because....

a) Who could move a dog that is 16in tall and 70 lbs?
b) He is as stubborn as they come
c) He's pretty dumb, so he wouldn't know to quit if he were losing!

Ok, this ferocious beast is Mina, AKA The Minataur.

She is a Shetland sheepdog, 31.5lbs of pure fur, and about to turn 4 years old.

This dog has not hurt a fly in her life but when she was about 7 months old we got a call from the management of our apartment complex asking us to come have a chat. When we arrived they informed us, very seriously, that someone had called in to report having seen Mina- I mean, the Minataur - running wild the previous night, and swore that she had attacked a person and then leaped up onto a car and smashed in the windshield. Mind you, she was about 23lbs at this point, still a pretty small dog. But they were deadly serious, and expected me to cover the cost of repairing my windshield. Obviously, I laughed and offered up the number to our family lawyer and never heard back from anyone about it. That complex's management was up to no good, if you ask me.

But ever since we've suspected... during the day she is innocent... quiet... watching. And at night - the Minataur breaks free and causes chaos!

Here she is as a young dog:

hahahahah! are you sure that wasnt a rabid fox on a rampage? i could see where the mistake could be made with such a pointy fluffy cute dog

#2 she looks like a beast, #3 she actually kind of look line a minotaur #4 you cheated rules said only 3 pics and then 2 more later :p it was to promote people staying interested in the thread.

how the hell is that dog that small and that heavy? and he looks solid too, not even fat. sounds like a tank. what is he a neutron star?

long hair dachshunds

this is not a cuteness competition! if it were youd probably win. maybe we should make a subcategory for cuteness

I don't know honestly, I think they were just trying to cheat us out of money or something. But they had to be stupid, how could a 20-something pound dog smash in a windshield and be fine? If I'd owned a great dane, well, maybe. But a sheltie pup? Come on...

Oops! Posted one pic too many!

That's just how bulldogs roll! It's sad, really that they have been so genetically mutated. To think THAT came from a wolf:eek: They can barely breathe, can't be in the heat long, need to be artificially inseminated and delivered via c-section, they are one of the least healthy breeds.....but awesome nonetheless.

Camber
Rotty shepard mix
6 yrs
130lbs

She is very well trained, to guard and protect. ( was my shop guard dog ) but absoluty loves kids and is great with anyone after being told to ;) Other dogs can be a challange.

PERFECT! finally a beast!!!!!!! i remember riding on my neighbors rotties when i was 10.

i need a dog like that to teach mine some manners. i just need to find someone with a dog that has manners themselves and dosnt mind being mauled for a couple seconds. if you live anywhere near PA i beg you to make chamber teach my girl how to calm the heck down.

shes never been beaten up so thats why i think she has such "big balls" i mean i dont want either dog to get hurt but its hard to train a dog to respond correctly within a pack/hierarchy situation when i have no pack at my beck and call. like that dude caesar, the dog trainer. he has his own little heard of dogs to treat/train problem children

a friend of mine had a herd of mastifs. they used to play with bowling balls. they would throw them down the stairs and chase em. being at his house was louder than a thunderstorm

LoL she is a bit of a monster. And acctually very good at what you are asking LoL. I had a friends dogs ( group of pits ) do the same to her a few years back and it worked well. ( just let her know there was always a bigger dog and not to be so damm wound ) they were real uptight and tense for a few min and tthen figured it all out with some scuffling and alot of jumipng and barking but no real fights or injuries ( the dog way )now she seems to like teaching young pups the way things works, and some old dogs too.
I dont think we will be headed down your way tho, Sorry

She used to think the firewood was he personal stick pile and would bring in big logs all the time. Great in the winter, no so much in the summer.

Ammo, Cooper, and Mini

Ammo- English Setter (white/black face)
1 year 4 months
Weight- 45 pounds
Personality- would only kill a fly.. lol. Hes super sweet, loves people, and other animals, and would ALWAYS win because he can outrun all ya'lls dogs.

Cooper- Belgian Malinois (sheperd)
3 years
Weight- 90 pounds
Personality- All bark, some bite. very protective of his mommy (my sister). when he needs to go outside and you ignore him, he grabs your arm with his teeth and drags you. Loves to play, very gentle.. usually, but too hyper for his own good.
He would win so long as the other dog doesnt bark back at him. But if he gets annoyed, he'll smack you with his paw.

Mini- Pit/Boxer mix (my brothers)
6 months
Weight- 50 pounds
Personality- lazy, farty, snores, and cant climb stairs. total lazy mutt who would rather roll over for belly rubs than fight. or play. hehe. Would totally lose, but is still cute.

Got any dog parks near by?

and if shes really that bad, my sisters dog can put her in her place. seriously. he is always the dominant dog, but not in an aggressive mean way.
and hes in hagerstown md
;)

Take your pic! :D
Beau: 90lbs rather calm unless commanded, trained in personal protection, protective of his brother and family.
Chief: (mostly black one)85lbs The goofy brother to Beau, extremely fast, playful, a nut all around :p not much of a guard dog though. Great at hide n seek!
Father was from a german line, mother was from American working line. Love these boys to death :)
Both are 2yo German Shepherd's

The animal in my home I'd choose is no dog, but a black cat. He once took on a deer with his ninja moves and the deer ran off. Did the deer run off full of fear? Or did she just run off fast so she could laugh? No matter, Sam claimed the victory. "Win the fight before it begins"
