Im locked out of my flat and wont be able to get in till tommorow and i cant turn the lights off on my vivarium they have been on since 9am thismorning and its now 9:25pm im woried as its going to be hot in there 24hrs an uv light 24hours is this going to end realy bad? Dont want to seem irasponsable just have had lots on my mind an forgot to grab keys

Your chameleon should be fine if its just a 1 day event. He may just be a little grumpy due to lack of sleep

This is one reason I would set everything up on a timer. You never know when something unexpected can happen.

Ok thats abit peace of mind i just feal bad for him would he still try an sleep do you think

he might be able to sleep but probably not. I left my lights on one night and went out and a family member was supposed to turn them off buty forgot. I came home at 2 in the morning and my chameleon was wide awake sitting on a branch. If there were lights on in the room maybe, but I think it will be hard ,for him to sleep with the cage all lit up. Like the other member said, One day is not going to kill him, so not to worry.
