Very Scared Chameleon!!

I opened my chams cage today and setup his free range free next to it, which is my first time attempting by the way. For the last 10 minutes he has not moved a muscle except his eyes! Is this normal and how long will it take for him to adjust, also is this to much stress for him? Please help anyone. Here is a snippet of how he is acting https://alfred.camera/tv/V1JaUhdhz

he is just taking time to adjust and observing his surrounding nothing abnormal about that.

He will be fine chameleons are not brave creatures and take their time to do new things.

He's being cautious. They're adorable when they're cautious.

Looks to me to just be adjusting. Chameleons do that "rock back and forth" thing as a stealth tactic, it makes them appear like a leaf. He's probably just a little nervous and cautious since it's a new environment, naturally he will expect danger which in return causes him to try and disguise himself as best as he can. For the time being, make sure not to force him, and try and provide some sort of coverage to hide in along the way.
