Very sick veiled

My female veiled chameleon is about 4 months old she has been eating great and shedding like normal until yesterday. Last night when I went to turn off her lights she was completely brown when I picked her up she seemed very weak and shaky. When I put her back on her vine she did not have the strength to hold on and fell to the ground. She slept on the ground last night which I know Chameleons do not do. This morning when I went to check on her she was still brown with some lime green spots and still on the ground. When I tried to pick her up she bit me which she has never done before. I tried giving her some mealworms but she will not eat those or the crickets in her terrarium. She shed about a week ago and I have read that they sometimes go on hunger strikes after shedding. I called a reptile vet here and they said I would have to bring her to the vet with an ICU but it is 45 minutes away and Im scared that with the stress of the car ride she will not make it. Any advice on what to do??

for supplementing,
you should be using a calcium without d3 for every feeding.
calcium with d3 twice a month.
multivitmain twice a month.

My roommates snake is in a tank on the side of her terrarium I realized he has been out more lately they can see each other through the glass but it has never bothered her before. Could that be stressing her out?

that wouldnt be causing her grip to be weak would it? glass tank huh how big was it??? hows ventilation??? cold she have gotten a respratory infection or maybe over suplementing??? and for water u just use the ice cubes??? do u mist? hows her poop any yellow where the white part is?

the snake view, probably not.
but it can cause stress, and if there was an underlying issue that the stress exarbated....

photo-1.jpg I tried take her out into the sun since she has been at the bottom of her terrarium her color got a little better but unfortunately there is not much sun out. She still will not use her back legs.

photo-1.jpg I layed some of her leaves out flat so she could lay without trying to hold on and be closer to her lights.

I put something in between there tanks so they cant see each other. it is a glass terrarium with vent holes on the front and mesh top. It is 20 inches high and 12 wide. She is looking better now that she is close to the light still wont eat or use her back legs and her front legs are still very weak.

I think shes been undersupplemented and over stressed.

i think a vet can help determine what shes been missing, maybe do a calcium injection,

Im sorry!
i hope the vet can help. but I dont think you have enough experiecne to nurse her back to health, and even if you did, i still think a vet visit is in order to get her back...
I hope she pulls through for you!
