Video Cameras

can anyone recommend a camera/video system that monitors my chams day? I assume it would be a security type cam, or a Go-cam. Just wonder if anyone else has something rigged around their enclosure. I feel I'm missing some good things, specially when my wife buys a worm or 2 and gives it to him when I'm at work

I would check places like fry's, or microcenter.
stay away from "mainstream electronics" store like best buy, or...
i found a place that carry's stuff... but its direct from china, probably not easy to use... but works great after you get it setup.... i have bought and received every thing i have paid for....

Pretty sure if you have a iPad or and extra iPhone laying around, You could use the hooked to the home wifi. I'm pretty sure they have apps like that.

I used a spare camera I used to use with my dog. Motorola Scout 1.1 Wi-Fi Video Pet Monitor. However something about the uvb bulb forces the video into infrared mode, so you don't get to see any beautiful colours. It is good for alerting you of motion and sound though, if you were worried about what he's generally up to. Has an easy app and web interface. It's novel in the beginning, but after a while all you really see is him sitting on his tree or walking around investigating. Nice for peace of mind if they are on their own in the house. You can also move the camera to try and find him if hes at the top or the bottom of the cage. I would look at getting a cheap ip camera off of ebay. Will do the same thing but a fraction of the price
