Video-My Chameleon kinda begs me to take him out of his enclosure now

I had my Panther Chameleon, Pantone, for almost a year now and I recently noticed that he would come down to the bottom branch when I would look at his cage...Recently I would sometimes see him look at me and he would reach his arms up like he wants me to take pick him up or take him out so I would open the cage and stick my arm in... Surprisingly he actually reaches for my hand and climbs on my shoulders and just chills there...

In the past when I want to take him out I would have to grab him off his branch and he usually tries to run away... I think he likes me now and is comfortable with me... Ive own many reptiles now and in the past BUT I have never had a reptile as interactive and personable as this chameleon.... Very fascinating animal!

Sweet! I hope my boy gets like that one day. Gonna let him make the first step . I have only had him for a few weeks and he is 3 months so I have some time

Our 6 month old is like that. He runs out on to our hand even if we are just opening the cage to feed him. I hope ours gets as big as your though.

How did you get him so comfortable with intereracting with you?

That happens around 6 months old with some panther males. I belive its because he wants a ride to the tree with the girls on it.

Aww! How sweet! I dream of my guy doing that one day...but he is a very pissy veiled, so I'm not holding my breath! I hope when I get my panther that he turns out that friendly!!

How did you get him so comfortable with intereracting with you?

I guess I would hand feed him a lot and when I did take him out of his enclousure I never startled him or harmed him....he eventually knew we were homies
