Vinny's Eyes closed

Good idea, but I don't have a ficus in there, just pothos and some kind of palm. Both eyes currently, but it seems to only be happening when he's sleeping- like he's super hung over in the morning or something.

What does terramyacin do? Thanks for all the replies, hopefully I can get this figured out.

It is used on animals for eye infections... I don't know exactly.... but I have used it a couple of times. It helps them get the eye clean and to fight off any kind of junk growing in the eye. You give a drop in the effected eye once in the morning and once later in the day. remember to keep it cool in the fridge. I have used it on my panther and it cleared up his issue in about three days.

since washing out the eye only works for a short time I would assume putting terramycin on the eye will help battle whatever is infecting the area. Worth a shot since washing it out only lasts part of the day.... I would assume the rinse gets rid of part of the irritation and whatever it is grows back or affects the eyes again later in the day.

Guys- just wanted to update everyone. After about 10 days of this weird eye situation, the problem seems to have abated. He's woken up normal the past 3 days, is active, and has eaten a bit. Thanks for all the advice over the course of this thread, this forum is a great resource with great people.

Only just noticed this thread has been posted on again! Hows the guy doing? I'm glad that he was making some progress a while back! As summoner says, keep us updated!
