Vitamin A deficiancy... please help. She's not getting better

I can’t say for sure. It could have been swollen from many things.

The way fat soluble supplements work is they get absorbed through the lining of the small intestine into the blood stream. They go from there into the lymph vessels then make there way into the blood stream they are then stored in the fat tissues and liver until they are needed. If they are getting to much of said nutrient it builds up and stops the absorption of all nutrients eventually leading to renal failure

I don’t know the only thing I can suggest is getting blood work done to see where her levels are at. I have no idea what the vet may suggest.

I would definitely get bloodwork and fecal. Here’s a list of reptile vets in your state. You can call them and see which ones has experience with chameleons.
