Vitamin A potency

So I got a new bottle of the preformed vitamin A by Repashy. It warns of its high potency and says to make sure to only use once a week. I wonder if it is better to cut it. I mixed it 50/50 with plain Ca in my 'shake n bake' bag. Better a little less than too much I guess. It also says to refrigerate after opening. I worry about condensation forming though. Anyone with idea or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated. I figured instead of using once a week, I would use it every two weeks. Not to exclude others or offend, but I would love to hear from sandra, ferret, lathis, nightanole, o.g. Solid Snake, jannb, etc...on this issue. (Side note: my male nosy be lost his use of his tongue at an early age. I got him from Ed at K.K., who said he was using it fine before shipping. However, he never used it upon arrival last summer. I have only ever seen him stick it out about 2" max. Any suggestions as to maybe using more of the A with him? Otherwise, he is just awesome.):p

do refrigerate - keep the lid on tight.

I cant offer experience as to frequency of use, as I would not use it at all. I use a multi-vitamin like Repashy Calcium Plus (original) about once a week (and use a variety of prey and gutloads) so there is no need for extra doses of Vitamin A. I don't know why a high potency vitamin A product even exists.

Vitamin A is not typically the reason tongues have troubles. More likely B vitamins or calcium or a general imbalance, or injury/infection.

Ask, and you shall receive...not that I will be much help, but maybe I can be, one never can tell after all...

Anyhow, Im inclined to agree with Sandra (safe bet, cant go wrong :p). I don't think I ever used a VitA supplement with my F.pardalis, but at the most I would use a VitA supplement once every 6 weeks-2 months, but that's just pulling from info Ive read, over a year ago.

Id be inclined to say that the tongue issue is more likely a genetic defect, or do to a physical injury. However, using a small amount with him, once, and seeing how he reacts should not be an issue in my opinion.

Making sure to reference Sandra's gutloading info, make sure youre doing everything you can to provide a balanced diet. That is what should be focused on first and foremost.

correction

In my haste I confused vitamin A with B. Life over 40:(. So, please adjust comments accordingly. Thanx you sandra and og solid snake, for the help.
