viv and stand

so Ive got my viv (£40) and I also got a hi-fi cabinet (£15). but my wife kept saying that it would fall off and kill our son. So I decided to make a plate to go inbetween the two to make sure that didnt happen. And luckily I work in a sheet metal fabrication company. I also needed a lamp stand so decided I could integrate that in too. And I also wanted to put up a shelf for my dripper but the wife said no. So Ive made a plate with a lip on the front to stop the viv falling off, a lip on the back to stop it coming off the cabinet and a shelf/lamp stand. And ive powder coated it black and my boss didnt charge me a penny as I made it out of scrap in about 20 mins.

What do you guys think?

I should have my set up done by christmas, and my first cham just after.

Well Id love a panther but as its my first I'm going to get a male Veiled. At around 12 to 16 weeks of age. And in July it would be around 10 months so I would then go to a 4 foot mesh cage.

What are the dimensions of that terrarium? Looks to be too small to house a 10 month veiled, you may want to get a bigger one before july.. I wouldnt keep one in there past the 5 month mark

thanks Dave I have done tons of research and knew all of this already, but its very helpful to have all that info in one place so i dont have to ask or seach again as i have all the info in one conveient place.

and its 45x45x60 or 18x18x24 i would hope to upgrade before july but i was told that this would be fine untill 10 months.

You should be fine, but i'd get him in a larger cage sooner.. Veileds grow pretty quick

cool. Yeh i was thinking the sooner the better. I just cant wait to get him now. Im like a kid at christmas.
This is a 15 month old male that somebody brought back to my friends shop, he's very tame but hated the camera lol
