I was thinking about painting my room tonight, and I was wondering if there were colors that would stress a chameleon? I wanna say dark colors do but I can't remember exactly what I read.

I honestly have not purchased a chameleon yet but I do plan to. The chameleon I was probably going to get is a male veiled chameleon. The wall I was probably going to paint is a light tan.I think it depends on the individual chameleon. Some are stressed out by certain other animals such as dogs and cats, some aren't. Some might not like the color red, some might not mind it. I don't think anyone can say for sure a certain color is going to make your chameleon stress. One thing though, if you are going to paint I am assuming you are planning on removing your chameleons cage. I would not want him to breathe those paint fumes.
Sounds logical to me, but I'm a total noob to this stuff. lolI was wondering about this colour thing before as well, and my concern was, are the disturbing colours different for different locales? You know, if males get aggressive at other males of their species, it makes sense that say the colour yellow wold be more disturbing to a mitsio than a nosy be, you know what i mean? or am i just making stuff up again? lol.
