Hi this may be stupid, but the warm water ya'll are using , is it tap or other? I was just wondering . I read that people are using the shower so that is tap water and no one is upset whem the chams are drinking it. I thought this was bad for them. I have a RO filter and faucet, that we got for our saltwater aquarium and this si the water that i use for all the pets except my dogs, cats, and ferrets. The only thing is that it is cold of course and I have to let it sit for a couple of hours. How does everyone heat their water up?

Thanks for responses:)

you really don't have to use warm water. all my chams get room temp water and they're all fine. i use tap water but i let it sit overnight so the chlorine evaporates.

I have the same question as zoomom. Typically I use filtered it spring water. If I put my veiled in the shower he would be ingesting the chlorine and all the other crap that's in tap/city water. I thought that tsp water should be treated or let sit overnight uncovered so the chorine can evaporate?

If you get water via a well, I would filter well water. If you get city water, You should check the quality of your water ad determine if it's ok. I have city water and my water is decent but I still let the water sit overnight to evaporate the chlorine.
