OK I had my chams in a glass tank and just got them a cage from LLL. Before the dripper would drip and get the floor very wet. Thank god it was in the tank now that their new homes are screen how do I prevent the water from building up at the bottom?

the dripper is on suuuuper slow and it still builds up :(

If you set the cage on something that can hold water like a plastic bin. Drill holes in the bottom of the cage and let it drip in. You can dump the container out every day or two.

Or there is always the paper towel fix :D... pile them up on the bottom. You will need to change them every day .

do you still have the two in one cage? they need to be separated.

To prevent the buildup you can put a plant below where the water drops, or you can build a drainage system. you can look this all up with the search.

As of right now yes they are still in the same cage waiting on LLL's delivery of the 2 cages. Hmm going to have to figure something out. I have their cage on my dresser right now and can't really put a pot under it to catch the water.

Paper towels will be perfect ... Just make sure you change them everyday. It will help if you make sure the dripper drips into a plant.

no that will not absorb much warter and its toxic when its wet frogs die when they sit on it when its wet so i wouldnt let my chams near it use paper towel for now

water

after trying to find a solution ,following many gallons with nowhere to go, i figure a 5 inch hole with a screen adhered to it ,and a bucket underneath is the way to go!!!!!!!!!! Good luck,it is a work in progress>

I would just go with the paper towels. Those astro-turf type cage liners can also cause tongue damage if your chameleon hits it while aiming for a feeder.

Good luck with those chams of yours ;).
