I have the flukers stuff from PETCO its like 10 bucks for the big bottle...
I mean other than that stuff, that is ridiculus. When one ounce wich is normally a dollar makes a whole gallon. I am looking for dry crystals where you add water, but thankyou.

I have no clue then sorry lol... Ya it is crazy expensive...HAHA and you did say the dry stuff in your main post... I need to learn to read

Go to your local supermarket, Walmart or bank and just get a Visa gift card. They all start at around $10 and then you can buy as normal on line. :)

Have you contacted the garden supply stores in your area? You might also try craft stores, but craft stores are usually pricey. The VISA gift card is a good idea but I believe there's a "set up charge"....not a problem if you're dealing with hundreds of dollars, but if you just want to buy one thing, it might not be such a deal.

a green dot mastercard is $5 at walgreens (plus whatever amount you want to put on it of course)that will allow you to do online purchases

Ya GreenDot.... Radio Shack sells them too and its also a $5 dollar fee.... So maybe your in luck because mostly everyone has a WALGREENS or a Radio Shack near them.

If you go that route, just put the money you need to spend now on the card and then cancel the card after your payment clears. They are usually set up with a $4.95/month "service charge" that will just eat your payment down until it's gone if you don't use it within a month.

Pretty much everyone here sells these cards. WalMart, Target, even the grocery stores....

I just think if you're making a $30 purchase that already includes $6.95 shipping, then adding $5 for the right to use the card means you paid $35 for something that costs a bit over $23. If you can find it locally, then even with the "big name store markup" it might be a better option....this is why you call around!

I do not know where to call around too...lol where would they sale these?

As I mentioned: any place with a "garden" center...if you have a gardening specific store (like Anderson's) then you should for sure call them. These crystals are used in gardening to absorb the frequent overwaterings that are common with new plantings and slowly release them to the soil over time. There was a thread about this...I don't remember where it was, but I'll try to find it, it had a product name and everything...

Your basically looking for a source of water? If you are then why not use a bottle cap and a cotton ball inside it?(add water) Just change it when it becomes dirty and make sure it has water in it. You can do this until you find what you need.

Thanks for your info everyone, but i dont need them anymore PantherCham is sending me some...THANKYOU!!!!
