Water problem

After im misting a pudle of water forms on the bottom of my enclosure is there something safe i can put on the bottom to soak up

Get plant pot 1 inch above the bottom. After that what i do is put a layer of paper towels and a very low speed fan (12v pc fan running on a 5v wall wart from a cell phone). Using this method in a 35% natural humidity room, i can evaporate over a half gallon of water in a 14 hour period with the mister running 15min total during the day.


If that doesnt work, still elevate the plant and everything else off the floor, and have the mister only run for 10-30 sec instead of a longer soak. It will still get the plants plenty wet for drinking. Your only problem(and mine) is if your cham wont start drinking without a good soaking.

PS dumb question, how do you get air flow in that thing? I see no bottom vents, and all 4 sides are solid.

I also use paper towels and small plastic container on the bottom to catch water I just change it daily

Ok i was thinking if there was something like moss or something just so i wouldant have to be disturbing the enclosure everyday or so this may be something il have to try though thanks

Any feeders that fall can hide in the moss or can make mold if it stays to wet I heard before, but I see people with moss before

Can you show this? Sounds like something I could do for my Chams!!!!!

Oops forgot to reply to question Oh an theres two quite big vents either side at the top and one vent bottom middle and then the sliding plastic doors are made to not close fully
