Most dust with calcium (no d3) every day. Then you dust once every two weeks with calcium WITH D3. Multivitamin once every two weeks.

Here is my dusting schedule...

Every day (except Fridays) - plain Calcium
Every 1st & 3rd Friday - Calcium + D3
Every 2nd & 4th Friday - Multivitamin

Make sure you “gutload” your feeders. This just means feeding them healthy food before you dust and feed them to your chameleon. Some people use Repashy bug burger or other premade mix, many just use veggie scraps. For example you can feed your crickets carrots, oranges, kale, collards, sweet potato, apples, etc. then when your cham eats the crickets, it also gets the natural health benefits of all the healthy food your cricket ate. Just check the gutloading sheet... I think someone already posted it... as there are a few fruits and veggies to avoid.

Like look how dark it is, it’s been like this all day and yesterday

Did your repribreeze kit come with a little thermometer? If so, try to place it at the very top of the driftwood and leave it there for several minutes to get a temp reading. Mine takes a few mins to show accurate temp.

Ok thank you so much. I’m just going to add some repti calcuim without d3 for everyday use and the d3 with calcuim for every Friday and then skip a Friday and then again. Vitamins when we skip the Friday.

I understand where ge is coming from. That photo doesnt help understand the schedule, and each vit can have a different recommendation.
Yes and thats when u coming in to give him the details above...sometimes it will take more people to make it more clear from the petsdumb store's mistake.

What is the temperature at his basking spot? Have you measured it? Is it constant?

We're back to the start of this thread. They are dark when trying to warm up. They can also be dark due to stress because A: it's all new and B: he has no cover, no places to climb or hide and a myriad of other reasons such as a draft, another pet close by, you not giving him space to settle etc. etc.

I appreciate you've acted on the UVB which is great but there's so much more to this. You need to read the care sheet info I linked earlier so you can understand what this little guy needs. Then you'll be able to ask the right questions and understand the replies.

Ideally, you would have done the research, set up a suitable enclosure and have everything in place weeks BEFORE you brought the cham home.

I'm not discouraging you from asking questions but doing some reading up, even just searching for similar posts on here should be your starting point. Google does NOT do everything for you, despite the belief these days.

Last question, do u think it will be ok that my Cham doesn’t have just plain calcuim until Tuesday of next week?

Best if he did obviously but with no choice, don't dust every feeding and dust lightly.

Don't forget to gut load your feeders. They need to fed good stuff so your cham gets to eat the good stuff.
