WD 40 attack

My new roommate, after being told not to introduce chemicals of any kind in my home, sprayed WD 40. It came under my closed door, hit my throat and I coughed my guts out. Then I realized... my chams!!! Next day, the baby Jacksons had what I guess to be the equivalent to the runs. Triggs urates separated from his stool and hung in a little sack of moisture. His stool hung from him and I had to pull it off. Lali's went like white paint all over her butt and dried there. I tried to warm water wipe, but she wriggled and freaked. They both look a horrid drab chalky colour all day. Has anyone else has had something like this happen, and or recognizes the symptoms? Despite this, I expect them to be ok by tomorrow. They both ate a couple of crickets each and drank today.
The roommate has been properly dealt with in the nicest way, so all is cool here.
There will be no repeats of any kind. AND he will pay half the vet bill if I have to take them in tomorrow.

Geez....how much WD 40 did he spray? The vapors on it typically aren't potent enough to come streaming through a door and causing throat irritation.

Seemes time for some bugs to 'escape' into the roomies bed ;)

Nature has a way of teaching us lessons without lifting a finger. lol

I got yet another job, and as soon as this roommate is gone.... that will be the end of putting me and the chams at other's idiotic indiscressions. Only cham keepers will be allowed to rent the extra room or no one at all. Sad part is, I won't be around much to enjoy my chams now. :{ And the other new job is working at a pet store. Wonder if I'll get a cricket discount? :D

A LOT. It permeated the whole apartment and would not air out for over an hour. I've been livid for days.

WOW i woulda SNapED! prolly woulda shoved the wd 40 can up his you know wat! i dont let anyone touch my animals at all , not after hearing all these stories of ppl leting there firends take care of them and come back to a horrible looking cham , you must have pateince of a god lol

Wow. That's absolutely ridiculous. Even if he never owned a chameleon, it's common sense that you don't go spraying chemicals into an enclosed space where there are animals! How incredibly ignorant. I hope your chams are okay.

I REALLY had to hold myself back... but I did say "WHAT WERE YOU THINKIN?" And after you read my ad, signed the agreement you would not do that and just after having a conversation about not introducing ANY chemicals in the place. So I did sorta get ratty with him. I'm on him like flies on you know what, when it comes to my chams.
And yeah, ChameleonMan... What was he thinkin? I told him he WASN'T lol
