We are in our new home. Living in boxes, but Spike is all setup. He absolutely wants to bite my face off (he tried earlier) but he's sound asleep now relaxing. He had a rough couple days because we had to move him twice.

He was still a little fired up here but starting to seem to calm down lol

Thank you. It got colder than anticipated in his room last night. Into the 50s. Poor guy. We are still learning this house and I didn't realize the heat was off for that room in particular. So I put it on early this morning. Then just now I noticed with his enclosure being in the sun.....it heated the top of his enclosure into the 90s! Which is crazy.... idk how that happened, really. It's only 66f outside here. I guess the sun hitting it directly just had that much of an effect.

Despite all of this, Spike has been AMAZING. He's doing great. Even in that heat... he was just hanging out on the TOP branches of his enclosure. I don't understand it. He could have easily retreated to the lower, cooler temps in the enclosure. But I turned the heat off here, moved his enclosure away from the sun, and his temps are getting back to normal <3 Wow he has been through so much, but he is been a trooper. Hopefully this was the last hurdle.
