Well.. If we haven't been though enough already lately.. my poor Diego! Good news is we live in South Jersey and made it through Irene . I literally at one point, due to possible tornado touch down reported about 1 block away from us and possible others throughout our county, woke Diego up and put him in his portable cage, then we all went down to the basement. My family, our two dogs and Diego hung down there til it went from warning and possible touch downs to a watch and seemed to have moved along but we remained under a tornado watch until early morning so I stayed awake and alert. Good thing we were well prepared and planned ahead. I had it all ready to go. We lost power from 830pm until 730am, good thing we had the generator to get us through the outage. Although that power outage didn't affect Diego much due to the time of it, it was great for us to have power, and I was prepared just in case . What a HUGE relief that Irene didn't bring what was expected. I'm soooo tired but even more relieved! Did anyone else on the East coast go through anything similar and wanna share what happen with them?
