Hi! This is our chameleon Slinky, we've had him for about a year and just recently this appeared on his eye. Only on one eye, it has been there for 2 weeks.
We're very concerned parents and would love to know what's amatter with our baby :|
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Its were the eye drains into the nasal passages. It could be vitamin A deficiency and build up of keratin. Recommend you see a good reptile vet. He may need to have an eye flush and vitamin A injection. Another possibilities is infection in which case an antibiotic may be needed. If he is not going to the vet then recommend flushing with a saline eye flush gotten at your local pharmacy..

Hi Slinky, can you please tell me the current status of your chameleon's eye? Did you manage to fix it? If so, how? My chameleon has developed the same exact issue and I would be so so grateful if you could please reply with your thoughts. Thank you so much!

The answer Slinky got is going to be basically the same as the answer for you. There isn't a way to diagnose this here just by looking. You need to have a vet examine the eye in person to determine whether its a nasal infection, keratin buildup, or a vit A problem. Don't just start dosing him with vit A because its easy to overdose.
