Weird color? Male/female?

Hey guys i just want your opinion, my chameleon hasnt eaten in 5 days since i got him from Kammer ive tried everything possible bug burger, worms, crickets.

i was wondering if the colors are normal?
and can anyone tell if hes a male or female?

tips/comments are very welcome thanks

I was told that he was Hatched between June/July is the size right?

sometimes new arrivals will not eat for a few days as they get acclimated. it does look like a female to me due to the absence of the hemipene bump, but it may be too early to tell. was it purchased as a male?

He does look like he hasn't eating in a few days for sure. Something to think about and try is not necessarily what you are offering, but maybe how. How were they feeding him prior to coming to you? I'm having to and wanting to cup feed my new arrival. My SunnyD version didn't do the trick right off the bat. I got the food right in front of his face, so that I could monitor what he's chewing on.

I know they tell me that hes a 5 months old chameleon, but honestly if u compared to both, idk man

so i made the paste couple days ago let it sit in the cricket cage, i tried to give him by hand, with the tonsil, and free cage and observed like an idiot for 1 hour , no action

Ok, so you've tried by hand, and that didn't work. You've tried tongs, and that didn't work. You tried free rangin, and that didn't work. I can see why he didn't like you hand or tongs. He's barely used to his new enclosure, let alone getting that close to you already. Try cup feeding like I did.

btw, you are not an idiot for observing him for a hour. get used to it. i "observe" for hours and hours upon end. you are in very like company around here.

Is your guy a grimbold baby? Looks an awful lot like mine. I think they may be from the same clutch. Mine is about the same size, born June/july from Grimbold/Sansa. He's in a few posts if u wanna see pics for size comparison - "terrorizing the baby chameleon!" and a comment in another thread by dolezalbob
