Part of me asks, "What do they need marmalade for if they're ostensibly eating the bugs?"LOL In Hawaii they have a sign in the restaurant that says "we can not kill the lizards, they eat the bugs" And they leave out little bowls of marmalade for the day geckos to eat next to the guests. Some of the guests dont want the complimentary marmalade...
We can not kill the lizards, they eat the bugs
We can not kill the bugs, they eat the crumbs
We can not clean up the crumbs, they feed the bugs that feed the lizards
I agree, I have so many anoles every time we open our door. & sometimes they get inside. They're so small & I love them. But they should stay outside. Admire it & let it goo.I love all of the little anoles and geckos that live around me and while I would love to have them be more visible (like in a tank), I think it’s best to just let them live their natural wild lives.
That's ~11 gal. Recommended size for a Mediterranean house gecko is 20 gal.https://www.pangeareptile.com/products/exo-terra-glass-terrarium-12-x-12-x-18 He has been getting bigger I was thinking of getting him something like this or something similar

Some sources say 10 gal., but I've never been one for minimum sizes when it comes to living arrangements (probably fromliving intrying to live in small apartments).
I see they make several in the 18" x 18" x 24" size—over 33 gal.

IDK what else may be out there. Is DIY an option?
Entirely up to you.
