Your basking spot temp is too low. What are you using for a UVB bulb?
What are you gut loading your feeders with?

Have you gave a fecal check for parasites? That's step #1 for changes in appetite. Are you monitoring his weight to see if he's losing any?

Especially if he had started sleeping during the day, something is very wrong. Time for a vet visit.

George is very handsome, BTW. I really hope he gets better.

Opend one eye this morning.Took one poop. The crikets seem undigested.

Fecal check for parasites needs to be done. These are typical parasite symptoms. Do you have an established vet? If not, they will likely want you to bring fresh droppings in with your Cham for a visit before prescribing medicine. Good luck!

Yes, take what you have. It needs to be less than a day old and moist. Keep it in a plastic Baggie in the fridge - don't freeze it.

Could be. It sounds like something is going on. You might bump his basking spot up just a hair - maybe to 84F, but no higher. If he's sick, the warmer temperature may help a little bit.

????

Could the uri cause him not to digest his food correctly.Turned of the ac.Room is around 80.Warm mist of fog on him. Thanks Lathis for checking up on my thread and everybody else.Thanks.

It's possible. If he's ill, that could be affecting his digestive system. Could be just the opposite too, intestinal parasites lowered his immune system and other infections take advantage.

I'm definitely not a vet, so I'm only making recommendations and offering thoughts.

It could be that thick mucus is not a symptom of a URI, but if he hasn't been feeling well, he might not be drinking as much as he should. That could also cause thick, stringy spit. I would keep a close eye on him until you can get a vet's advice.

Poor little guy. At least you have a plan for moving forward. I wish you both the best.

He really is very handsome. I miss my Jax very much.
