I know that I'm late to the party, but I wanted to say congrats on the babys.

WOW, they are small. so tiny, and so cute.

I hope the others hatch soon. yet I'm also sure that you'll have your hands full anyways untill they do.

2 others were roaming this morning. I have one left but I dont think its going to hatch. Its been little since the getgo. Its sorta darker colored and really soft... Im gonna leave it in outta hope, but I think Im done at 5. Woohoo.Quintuplets!

Here is the 2 that hatched this morning!

Ah! Sextuplets! They all hatched! I didnt think the little one was going to but it did! I helped it out as he got his head out and then laid there so I pulled the rest off and cleaned him up gently and whala, off he/she went!

I have a small cup with dubias in it..I tried to snap the shot of the fruit fly on the pygs nose to get a size comparison but he wasnt there when I got back with the camera
One of the babies caught sight of the dubias and took off in search of how to reach them. I am going to Nashville today and hope to find some Fruit fly cultures to bring home with me...

Yes, i can find 5..Im still searching for the 6th in the tank. We went to Nashville and I picked up about 200 pinheads and 200 1 wks. Dumped em in. One baby tried to bite me! He was hanging on my a foot so I helped him up and he turned his head and tried to chomp on my finger! LOL! Im so excited. If I can sex them, then I have 2 going to Cheque point and one going to Justagirl.. That leaves me with 3 local as I cannot ship outta fear!

anyone wanna give me a good time frame to let them go to new homes?

Im in TN by the way.

Congratulations. You could put in a praying mantis egg sack and let that hatch out too, baby mantis I think would be a good size for these guys. Hate to be the dingbat, but are these Brevs? How long did it take to hatch?

Hm. Nowehere around here carries. One old dude said he did last summer but not this.
They are bearded leaf. they went in March 30 and hatched 3 on May 30 and 3 on May 31st. i have another batch of eggs as soon as I dig em out. waiting til she goes to sleep. I got tons more pics!

Thank you. Hard to get since I dont have a macro and anything closer than 18 mm goes blurry.. and these guys are TINY!~

i -believe- I have 3 males 3 females. I wish I would have paid attention when they were born to see if the first 3 hatched were all the same gender as well as the last. that would have been interesting..but based on tail, thats my guessing.
