Welcome to my underground lair

The inner workings of what is my cham room. I only wish I had double the square footage. Everything is run on a mistking (plug) with my hatchrite from LLL (plug) for the incubator which used to be an exoterra craptibator ( anti plug) and of course my golden bag gut load dino fuel (plug) from mr TKilgour himself. This is how I spend most of my waking hours. The dog gets mad. And yes. I rock a pink quad on the weekends.

that is a really cool setup. i want a 2 bedroom apartment where i could do this in the spare bedroom. question; can the chams see each other when they are in cages across each other like you have it? do the cages need to be a certain minimum distance apart before the screen masks them? whats the distance you have them from front of screen to front of screen?

Theres a good 6-7 feet between cages. The males are kept next door to each other and aren't in sight of each other. The females are kept on the opposite side. It's actually good because they know they are far away from the males but at the same time the females seem to show the male when receptive and climb to the front of the cage.

Hey there, nice setup, i'm trying to build a small enclosure for my 2 females but i need to ask you, what type of plants are you using ? and also could you tell me some creeping or hanging plants that i could use in my enclosure ? Good luck with your chams. Sorry for the bad grammar. Cheers.:D

Cool set up. I like the elevated slide out drainage drip system. I might have to reconsider mine. How's that work out for you?

ah i miss the good old days. nice thing about my basement is its unfinished. so id just wetvac any excess water.

what are you using as visual barriers? my dad used to work at a flag company so we have huge rolls of fabric, i use light blue, green and white.

i used to just drape the cloth in between and then when i started constructing my own cages i realized i could just spline it in as if it were screen. gives it a real nice touch

I want a room like this. Maybe bigger, so the chameleons facing each other are farther apart. And can have a barrier between them since I don't know if I'll have females to breed. Lol. But its awesome.

Reminds me of my first chameleon room. I am getting teary eyed and sentimental. Even the pink quad, I rocked a purple one.
Looks good Thom!

Can I ask how you hang the vines? I'm currently working on decorating my Cham's new cage. I'm not having the best time with these dang vines. Is there a trick to it? Your cages look great and I could really use your advice. Thank you.
