Werners chameleons

I recently heard about some werners for sale and the price was more than right. So I figured I'd pick up a couple pairs and try to find them homes here on the sight. Well I bought them yesterday and had them shipped to a friends house. Work is keeping me from being able to accept them. So she just got them this morning. One of the girls appears to be pregnant. Now I'm kinda thinking about keeping her until gives birth. I already have about 50 plus Panther chameleon babies and they are all thriving and I haven't had a single problem with even one of them. But I've also have had quite a few jacksons give birth for me in the past and those were TOTALLY different.
Does anyone here have experience with Werner babies. I'd rather sell her to an experienced keeper than loose the babies if they are difficult. But if there not she is staying!!!
I'd appreciate all the info and links you guys have.

Just got pictures of my new werners. Going to pick them up early in the morning. Here's the girl that's possibly pregnant. I'm thinking it's not possibly but definitely.

And here's one of the boys. They are both young and look great. The other female is awesome too. I'm wishing I got 20 of them now.

I've got the perfect girl for this boy. PM me some info please. I've found that they start off small and stay that way for quite a while. Very slow growing but if the neonates are healthy and conditions are right for montanes, they've done pretty well for me.

I think I have the perfect boy for your girl. Lol. Any info on how to setup babies.

Pretty straight forward montane from my experience. Cooler temps., upper 70s with decent humidity. I've had luck with open top bins with paper towel substrate to keep the small crickets from drowning and to hold the humidity a little bit. Just be ready to keep tiny feeders on hand for quite a while longer than other species. It could easily break the bank if your not producing your own, and from the looks of that pic it doesn't look like you have much time to get cultures going if you don't have them already. Good luck and keep us posted. They look great.

Well the cool thing about this is the timing. I have young panthers and another clutch getting ready to hatch. So I have 10 fruit fly cultures already.
These guys are crazy cool. I already set them up. I have the female all by herself. Here's a pic of one of the males. Took this one myself.

Are you sure. She only has one horn. And my pregnant female only has one horn. I hope I didn't get 3 males and only 1 female.

It looks like that specimen has three horns. That one is very young so the horns aren't very long yet. Maybe it is just the photo. My apologies if that is the case.

They seem to be settling in good so far. I put a bunch of dusted crickets in there cages yesterday and there all gone. This is such an interesting species. My friend also got a pregnant girl. So hopefully we will be able to offer captive bred babies in the next 3-5 months.
Does anyone know there total gestation period. I know mine is very far along. But I'd still would like to know.
