What’s does fired up mean

Fired up is when a chameleon is scared or mad and puffs up their body and gular
What about if he is not puffed up but he has stripes in his eyes

I don't know. I dont know if chameleons all exhibit the same patterns for the same stimuli. Mona gets stripey when she sees food. Her eyes get very stripey.
 
There are two different types of getting fired up, when I reach into the cage to handle the chams, they go DARK and stripes become black. And then there is the other version where they have the same posture but show more vivid bright colors

Is that your cham on the right photo? That is what flower looked like coming out of the vet, but darker.
 
From what I’ve read, the black and darker colors mean that they are trying to blend into the background and get away from predators. I don’t know about the bright colors
 
I notice my older boy Gilgamesh (pictured) shows super bright colors when the other male is in view. He gets the same brightness for the ladies and does a head Bob too
