My female veiled chameleon's name is Mike. When we first got her we had no idea if she were male or female, but my son really really wanted her to be male. She is our first chameleon, and I was absolutely clueless. Now I'm pretty sure he is a she, but the name stuck.
My new parsonii have names, which according to the Internet are derived from languages spoken in Africa and Madagascar. The male is Tafari, which means he who inspires awe, and the female is Zuri, which means beautiful.
Unfortunately, as well though out and well intentioned as their names may be, they are only their "professional names", as their personalities as forced me to calling him Bubba and her Grizelda. Thankfully, they don't care one way or the other.
