What can I do now?

I shall certainly mention it yes, but this problem has been ongoing for months and months now so surely something far worse would have shown up/taken hold by now if it was that? I will mention it though!

Yea the guy who I got the melleri from said he got him like that and he had him for about 6 months. Anaerobic infections dont seem as aggressive as say an abscess.

Its probley a shot in the dark but sometimes thats all we got.

I wish you all the luck! I've been reading about Tommy since you brought him home, he's a valued member of the forum family.

Thanks Jessica - he has been with me for about 18 months now. He deserves the best I can offer, bless him. Do you have any links to more information on anaerobic infections at all? I would love to do more research into that.

I really wish I did

All of my information comes from my vet, my experience and books I've borrowed from vets.

My heart goes out to you and Tommy Miss Lily :( I have to admit I shed a tear reading this. Best wishes

Aw! That's so sad! Poor Tommy. =( I feel like I just met him. I really hope he can beat this and try to regain his strength. I almost hope it would be an anerobic infection atleast it seems curable compared to something like brittle bones. Good luck! Please keep us updated!
