Here in quebec there's not much insects in the stores :p can i feed them fruit or veggies... something other than insects?
P.s im new to this breed :)

Look, its a common sense question. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the husbandry for these animals is very specialized. I have been working with these creatures for 20 years.

Good for you TheCoop! I saved these chameleons life you could tell the lady did not care for them. this was the males last chance he is fairly skinny..i want to give them the love and care they deserve! I just beed to know a little more on them...

LindsayG i saw what coop was trying to say but that kind of question for me was rude. I did the right thing here i saved their lives...just be glad they have a second chance.... There in goid hands they will be taken care of properly!

Have you seen the caresheet for pygmies? It covers their diet along with everything else they need to thrive: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/pygmy/

Have you asked the local pet shops if they can special order in the feeders you need? Some can do that! I had to mail order the weirder stuff online and am trying to breed them here to save on costs in the future. There isn't much selection locally here either, but chameleons really do need more than plain old crickets to do well.

Alot of chams will eat their young too as long as they can fit in their mouth, I have also seen larger chams eat small birds, rodents, and small lizards but that won't work for tiny pygmys and is more of a rare thing not too healthy anyway except maybe eating the babies, just curious your name is pygmy chameleon breeder I would think a breeder would know these things changing your profile name might make people a little nicer to your questions and I mean no offense to you
