what cause respiratory infection in tropical country ?

Chameleon Info:

• Your Chameleon -
  Panther Chameleon ; Male ;
  almost 1 months old | 14 days in my care
• Handling -
  only when cleaning the cage
• Feeding -
  i feed him with crickets baby , turkish roach baby;
  i give as many as he can eat, i just put like 10 turkish at the morning in feeding cup and take out at the afternoon at 2 P.M, i see he eat around half of the portion, in the first day he only eat 1 cricket.
  I gut load the feeder with green turnips & pak choy
• Supplements -
  i give exoterra calcium non D3 every feeding.
  multivitamin once every week
  
  
• Watering -
  i use DIY auto mister that works perfectly for misting system.
  the schedule is
  9.30am - 5 minutes
  12pm - 5 minutes
  13.00 - 2 minutes
  3pm - 3 minutes
  16.00 - 1 minutes
  (i do this because my country bit warm climate , especially at the afternoon)
  i put the nozzle at the top of the screen with a dome , so its like mist + droplets of waters
• Fecal Description -
  i compare the fecal with poop 1001 picture , its look normal , and it has white part (urate) looks white mean my chameleon drink
• History -
  my chameleon poop normal on schedule.
  I have 6 babies chameleon. 1 months old
  each chameleon in 1 screen cage.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type -
  screen cage , size 90 x 45 x 45 cm (horizontal) ( i use feeding cup)
• Lighting -
  full natural sunlight , i put the cage for 20 minutes to get direct sunlight at 7AM , after that i put it back on the patio
  
• Temperature -
  - my cage temp range between 32-34c (92-95F)
  - the lowest overnight temp is 26-28
  - i measure with two digital thermometers
  #inside and outside ambient temperature just the same)
  #this is why i dont use any basking light anymore, because the temp is bit high#
• Humidity -
  - Humidity fluctuates between 50-60% daytime , 70-75% night time.
  - i have 3 live plants(pothos) to maintain the humidity (each cage have 3 pots and outside the cage i put 2 hibiscus plant)
  - i use two digital hygrometers to measure
  
• Plants - yes , i put 3 pots of pothos each cage.
• Placement -
  i put the cage outside, on patio..
  
• Location - i live in Jakarta - Indonesia. tropical country.
  
  my qutestion :

what causes respiratory tracts in tropical countries?
daytime temperatures of 93-95f with 50-55% humidity, to 60% when sprayed. At night the temperature drops to 79-82f with 70% humidity.

12pm - 5 minutes
13.00 - 2 minutes
3pm - 3 minutes
16.00 - 1 minutes
I have a screen cage placed outdoors with 3 pots of pothos plant life and surounded by hibiscus plant outside the cage.

still curious what causes respiratory infections in my place.

for gutload and supplements I think is right.
the cage is cleaned regularly.
about the feeders, i keep the feeders bin clean.

is it possible that high temperatures with 50-55% humidity cause it?

i think yes, the cage dry out between misting .. but not all the water droplets dryout ..
maybe around 90% water droplets dryout then misting again ... especially mid day, i mist more often.

Environmental contamination is one of the causes....which can happen in any environment tropical or not. Bacteria and viruses are in all parts of the world. Proper temperature of the cage and regularly removing feces, etc from the bottom of cage will help prevent infections. The risk of upper respiratory infection can also be result from poor insect care and dirty water, dirty misters, etc. Drafts can be a factor too.

i bring my little chameleon to reptile vet here ..
he diagnose that my cham got respiratory infection or trouble in digestion.
actually my chameleon have respiratory infection symptoms .. i told the doctor already .. everything .

then he give NaCl + multivitamin inject directly to the body.
he said my chameleon dehydrate, but my chameleon urate is white.

after 5 minutes, my chameleon died, seems my chamelon choke and hard to breathing.

from now, i dont want to bring my reptile to vet reptile anymore.

may be people in this forum told to bring to the vet, because the vet in America and around is good enough to take care of reptile.

but here, no more vet for my reptile better i do experiment and ask the experience one for the treatment.

I am sorry for your loss. It is very hard for a 1 month old to die of an infection.

I am guessing it was a birth defect. Some chameleons are born with a deformed heart. They will act normal til their body gets too big for the heart.

Your chameleon may have been born with a deformed rib cage, or a blockage in one or both lungs.

I ask my friend who is a doctor, human doctor not vet.. I tell her the chronology.
She said the liquid that vet inject is way too much, so the body cant hold that liquid that much then go to the lungs, so my little guy getting hard to breath then die.

It is possible. For reptiles, the injection should be just under the skin, not into the chest. cavity.
