What could these be?

I was checking out my male veiled seeing if anything was wrong with him since I found him down towards the bottom of his cage.. and I see this on his vent, dried up.

I'm thinking they could be sperm plugs, but they are a VERY odd shape.

I gently removed them with some tweasers, there was no tugging needed, came out easily and without any trouble from the veiled.

Or your head.... Got one when I had Gizmo's cage open for cleaning. He had casually climbed onto my head and just started going to town. I actually thought he was just trying to get a good grip on my hair (it's pretty thick)....
