What do you feed your chameleon? I have done my research on suggested feeders but I want to hear what everyone actual feeds and how often.

I feed my adults 3 times a week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. From around 6 months to 13 months I feed every other day and babies get to eat everyday. I use a large variety of well gut loaded feeders such as crickets, a variety of roaches, moths, stick bugs, mantis, flies, silkworms, hornworms, Phoenix worms, Butterworms and superworms. Some of my chams will also eat fruits and veggies such as kale, dandelion, mustard, turnip, collard, endive greens, small slivers of carrot, watermellon, strawberry, blueberry, apple, pear and banana. It's important to have a good dry gut load such as Cricket Crack to go along with your fresh fruits and veggies.
Which of these feeders are easiest to keep?
Roaches, flies, silkworm pods, hornworm pods, Phoenix worms, Butterworms and super worms are all easy to keep.
Not crickets??
They are allot more work to keep clean and if you don't keep them super clean they stink.
I can find them local. Would it make sense to buy them weekly, gutload and feed some too?
I buy large amounts from Armstrong Cricket Farm. Since you are only going to have one chameleon you might want to check out lindasgonebuggy.com
She has value packs with a variety of 4 or 5 different feeders in small amounts so you can feed a variety with out buying a huge amount of each feeder and the last time I checked her out the value packs were only $20.00.
Wow this is a very awesome website!! Thanks for sharing!!
