what do you guys think of his weight

Was just wondering some opinions on my guys weight not that i think hes under or over at all. it sparked my interests as a friend of mine just got a chameleon maybe 4-5 months old and mine is alot bigger at 7 months. dont think they realize how fast they grow so they keep using the term "fat" when he was puffed a little. so i weighed him the next day.

on the scale i did the absolute best i could, got a reading of 79g with almost all of his tail off.

What do you use to weight chams

79g is perfectly normal for that age. Chameleons do not all grow at the same rate so there can be big differences between ones that are the same age, even in the same conditions.

If you are having trouble weighing him you can put something on the scale for him to climb on and then turn on the scale, which should zero it out. That way you can weigh him without having to subtract the weight of the objects he is on.

yeah i saw that and was actually going to mention that because thats wht my breeders do. would be nice to put something permanently but it belongs to my brother and he weighs alot of things with it turtles tortoises etc. appreciate the tip though
