What do you know about these chameleons?

a male is generally suggested to beginners because you dont have to worry about eggs and the possibility of them becoming eggbound :) its your choice completely! you choose what you feel you will be able to deal with best once you have done the research on the species you choose! :D
 
Spectrum

Hey guys! I just thought I'd give you an update. I got my chameleon today, and I decided to go with the panther chameleon in the end. He is a 15 week old blue bar ambilobe and for a baby is very friendly. He jumped right onto me when I opened the package. I was not expecting to touch him for a while, but he is very friendly. I named him Spectrum and right now we've been calling him Specky.
I moved the enclosure to my bedroom to get it to the proper temperature and everything is set up properly. I'll get him a larger enclosure and some real plants once he grows a lil more.
BTW, I got him from Jim at the chameleon company (thanks for suggesting that). He was sired by Bonaroo.
