She looks better in that pic. Maybe it was just the angle of the first pic. She does have a bit of swelling though.
Kati, it really depends on how much you are feeding already if you want to add more calcium to the females diet when gravid. There is no real exact science because number of feeders and how much one considers a proper dusting can be way different. Its more or less figuring out what works for you and the individual animal.
I find its a "normal" thing for gravid females to get edema on the forums when gravid and even people say its normal. However, I never see them all fat and swollen like a lot of the "normal" ones in pics in the wild. Just some food for thought.
