what do you think of this guy for a newbie?

i'm finally going to be getting my first chameleon, i used to work in a pet store and took care of them for years and would love to get my own finally.

what do you think of this panther?

Looks like a good deal. Looks healthy also. I would pay up to $450 if you can tell the husbandry was correct, and the cham seems vibrant and healthy in person. Good find!

good to know! what should i look for when checking him over? also will he color up more or is that it? just so know. thanks so much! i can't wait!

Make sure his limbs are striaght, his grip is strong, he doesnt close his eyes.
look for any sores, make sure his lips align and stay closed, no wheezing, gasping, etc. make sure he can climb properly. and if possibly, try to get hiim to eat a bug to make sure his tongue works.

and yes he will continue to color up more, as hes only a year old, they can keep changing for many years.

They usually color up until 1,5 years old.
