She looks quite gravid now :p Got the egg laying box in there but she doesnt want to lay yet. Are they going to be bigger than this? It has been 12 days since mated, know that they arent supposed to lay on the 30th day +- 3 days.

She look fat though, do you think she got eggs? :)

WOW shes a marble sack forsure lol , but they can lay eggs any wheres from 18 to 30 days after mating and sometimes they wont lay until 40 days just depends on how well the eggs are formed in her but anything longer then 45 days i would get worried and a vet check will be needed , im gona say shes got atleast 50 or 60 eggs in her by just the way her back belly looks lol so get ready your gona have a hole bunch of baby veileds in as little time as 6 months to aslong as 1yr so try geting a few things for them like enclosures and fake plants and real ones so they can climb on , save money to cause your going to need it , ask around so you can get fruit flies and pinheads soon as your eggs start sweating then your either a few days ahead or weeks , now when they hatch you wont be so flusterd trying to get everything ready you will just have it all at the side ready to be used but congrats on the sucessful breeding , hope she lays a nice clutch for you also and good luck with it all

thank you boothy , very interesting facts you gave me! :) i will take care of the enclousure to them if the eggs are fertile :p.
the vermeculite will eventually get dry, are you supposed to water between the eggs often after its dried out? Or do you pour some water on the sides so the vermeculite gets moistered again?
