as exspected then but time will tell not given upp yet. I would say 10 liter atleast of sand and mud for eggs so it can dig deep since it can produce them whit hig amount of food and not need to be insiminated for that. hig humidity around 50%.and alot of nutricion so they dont get weak skeleton. Uv light so it can digest food properly. i dount think mud is the right word to put in the mix for it to dig in it just sounds wrong but i am not a native eanglishe speaker so to say.

soil is indeed probably more like what i thinke about . I am living in Stockholm capital of Sweden! Uv is probably the purpul light i asume but it is defintly not what i have got some ligths from exo terra repti glow 2.0. In swedish it is called only Uv i have no idea what the b stands for in uvb in eanglish.

The purple light might be a black light. It looks purple because of a filter layer that covers it to block out most visible light. I don't recommend them for chameleons. You need something like a Repti-sun 5.0 long linear tube light. Sunlight also produces UVB.

There are 3 types of UV light...A, B, C...long and medium and short wave. UVB is the one needed to induce production of vitamin D3 needed to use the calcium in the chameleon's system.UVB has wave lengths from 280 to 315 nm.

Do you know about supplements?

If I don't explain things so you understand them please let me know and I will try to be more clear. Language makes it hard sometimes.
