what gender?

Its a male. No question:)

He does seem to have a little bit of edema (the swelling around the neck). This could be from multiple things and probably is not your fault. I would get a good gutloading and dusting schedule going on and if it gets worse then we will need to look into what needs changed slightly.

Welcome and I am glad you got a male like you wanted:D

Thanks for your observation. I will try to do my best.
I do want a male, but most important for me is to have a healthy cham, so I appreciate all the suggestions :)

Hes a good looking boy. and I have both the 5.0 and a 2.0 bulb in my chameleon tanks that have live plants. I was told by my local repti sun bulb retailer that the 2.0 was better for live plants.

Or a tube from Lowes around 6500K. They are much cheaper and put out a really nice looking light.

Im refurnishing the cage right now and i've just taken few pics of my boy.
But he showed some dark colors: dark brown and even black.
Could someone take a look, because Im afraid he might be dehydrated or something...

Ive finished upgrading my cage. The changes I made:

- remove peat and replace it with paper
- introduce the dripper
- remove the second bulb (2.0)
- instal screen instead of one door

Please let me know what you think
