Well i had always kinda wondered what hatch rite was and what it is composed of that you dont have to mess with moisture levels the whole incubation period. Well i had my female veiled lay 55 eggs for me and i decided to go with hatchrite just to be on the safe side. After looking through the incubation substrate, it appears as if there is this jello like stuff mixed in with perlite. After looking at it more i noticed a big clump of this jello and you know what it looked like? It looked like the jello crystals you order to hyrdrate crickets. It seems as though they use that stuff, hydrate it, then grind it up in to really small pieces and mix it with perlite. What do you guys that have used this stuff think it is?
