What incubator has the highest success rate?

From everyones experience, what incubator has given you the greatest success rate in hatching chameleon eggs? Does anyone have any experience with the Exo-Terra Reptile Incubator?

Home made built out of a old fridge using heat cable and controlled by a herpstat. But when we first started we used a hovabator with success.

A buddy of mine lost several clutches of python eggs using the ExoTerra incubator, and I have heard from others of the unit malfunctioning. sometimes the simple setup is much better than the fancy features, less things to go wrong.

I used the Exo-terra that heats and cools for my panther eggs and lost 6 eggs from the first clutch and 0 eggs from the second clutch. I had no malfunctions. i put a temp gauge inside of it to keep track of the sitting temp and humidity because the temp it read on the outside was usually completely wrong. but whatever temp i set it to it stayed at for the most part + or - about 2 degrees. Very good results. I only bought it because my house had no central heat and air for a year and I knew it would cause issues trying to do the closest method.

It's good that you had success with it, we just never used it because the feedback we had on it from friends was negative. Using a separate thermometer or multiple thermometers with any incubator is always a smart move.

Yea that's why i used a thermometer inside of it also. Because of the reviews. But I needed something that cooled too. And it worked very well. You just have to check on it, like you should any incubator.

Depending on the species, nothing wrong with the closet.

However when I bred Bearded Dragons I used a hovabator.
