Good looking Ambanja. Almost all panther chameleons change over time and some more than others. Some Ambanjas go from red barring to blue barring during their prime back to red barring...and I have also seen that in Ambilobes as well. Then others just slightly change their colors over ages. So, you have a good looking Ambanja male, thats about all I can say. Hope that helps.

The Sire could very well have been a Red Barred Ambanja, but it's not always a guarantee that the offspring will look like the sire. The dame has 50% to do with the genetics of the clutch as well. She probably came from a blue barred ambanja line, and that trait was then passed onto the offspring.

He's a beautiful Ambanja nonetheless! :D

Thank you all for the compliments, i just cant believe he changed so much, so fast!, he is only about 5-5 1/2 months old, so i cant wait to see what he looks like once he gets a little older. I got a little girl ambanja to match him so one day( a long time from now), i will have little babies to fill up the small remaining void in my apartment, lol, my girlfriends gonna kill me:D:D
